Our mission
Our website exists to provide a critical lens through which readers can examine political articles from mainstream news agencies. A “redline” is the striking out of errors, falsehoods, or lies by placing a solid red line through it and replacing it with corrections or needed revisions. We “redline” blatantly biased political content, pointing out misinformation, misrepresentations, and sly manipulations (aka propaganda). Our goal is to shine a light on the truth, holding media outlets accountable for the way they shape public perception, especially in matters of U.S. politics but also global affairs. By revealing the often subtle biases in news reporting, we aim to equip our readers with the tools to critically analyze information and think independently.
We focus primarily on U.S. politics, but our scope extends into geopolitics when it concerns the interests and values of the United States. Our work emphasizes a return to the core principles set forth in the Constitution, reminding readers of the importance of liberty, personal freedoms, and the rule of law. We also highlight how media outlets frequently distort these foundational values, skewing public opinion to advance political agendas that may not align with the true spirit of the American Republic.
A spotlight of truth
The heart of our mission is the belief that media outlets often betray their audience’s trust by presenting stories with a heavy-handed bias, designed to manipulate emotions or perceptions for political and financial gain. Through redlining, we expose how language is used to frame issues, shift narratives, and promote agendas that distort reality. Our goal is not just to criticize, but to offer a clearer, more truthful view of events. We aim to restore the integrity of journalism by encouraging transparency, fairness, and accountability in political reporting.
