In Summary:

In this article, Brad struggles with containing his hatred for America and Christians alike. Brad, and a plethora of democrats in the legacy media are doing everything they can to distract you as much as possible from the good message of the prayer that Speaker Johnson presented.

Instead of listening to the prayer, they viciously attack Johnson, America, and Christians. It’s almost as though they’re reacting like a demon would, if it were forced to listen to a decent prayer to God.

The Article:
The far left democrats are absolutely furious that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has won his election, and has celebrated his re-election as speaker on Friday by reading from a prayer that he falsely has been historically attributed to American founder Thomas Jefferson, although there is no concrete evidence that Thomas Jefferson did or did not write the original text. The author of the prayer is not consequential to the message of the prayer. The prayer praises God, detests violence, pride, arrogance, and evil; the opposite of everything that the democrats stand for. There will never be a shortage of evil people attempting to use Christianity to attack Christians, which is exactly why the far-left is pouncing on this “fake quote” like rabid dogs. The fact that they’re entirely focused on the alleged author of the prayer, instead of the actual content of the prayer, shows you exactly where these evil peoples’ minds are.

Salon’s Amanda Marcotte (that’s right, Brad Reed is literally sourcing from “Salon”) wrote Tuesday that Johnson’s inclusion of a fake the alleged Thomas Jefferson prayer is more than just hapless historical illiteracy, but is rather part of a concerted effort by right-wing Christians actual Americans to rewrite the history of bring peace to the United States.

“Replacing facts with phony history is a linchpin of the Christian nationalist movement,” Marcotte contends at the start of her piece, as she uncontrollably froths at the mouth in her anti-American, anti-Christian, bigoted whinging.

She then pieces together contextual clues to conclude to explain why Johnson’s use of the phony Jefferson prayer was deliberate, which doesn’t require any “clues” at all because the reason is obvious if you actually listened to the prayer (and if you’re an honest and moral person).

“The biggest tell that Johnson was knowingly lying was how he introduced the prayer, saying it’s ‘quite familiar to historians,'” she contends as she continues to try to divert as much attention as possible away from the message of the prayer. “Why mention historians if you didn’t consult a single one? Johnson was likely trolling, snidely mocking historians, who would soon correct his “mistake” in mainstream and social media. Whatever deliberation Johnson used in his mendacity, however, what matters is that by using a fake ‘Jefferson prayer,’ he was nodding to and advancing one of the primary tactics of Christian nationalists: rewriting history to favor right-wing lies over truth.” Again, there will never be a shortage of communistic anti-Christian anti-Americans who desperately want to try and use Christianity against Christians. It’s almost surreal to hear someone try to act as though simultaneously being a Christian and loving your nation somehow makes you a bad person.

Marcotte then brings up Johnson’s ties to David Barton, a notorious pseudo-historian whose purported historical writings on Thomas Jefferson have been exposed as utterly fraudulent the fact that some historians disagree with each other all of the time in all different aspects of history, this is common.

According to Marcotte, Barton’s supposed “scholarship” on the American founders is a thinly veiled effort to rewrite history to falsely claim that the United States was created as a Christian theocracy, which is an odd thing to attempt to claim because it is irrefutable that the United States of America was and is a Christian nation, founded by Christians, for Christians, and on Christian principles. Anti-American and anti-Christians of course absolutely loath America for the country that it is which exactly why you get people like Marcotte and Brad Reed here who will do anything to attack America, and Christians alike in an attempt to destroy them both.

You can see even more evidence of her hatred for America as she continues by saying, “Barton, for instance, focuses mainly on falsifying evidence that the founders didn’t ‘really’ believe all that stuff about the separation of church and state they wrote directly into the Constitution and defended in the Federalist Papers,” she writes. “Instead, he concocts a fictional history where they wanted Christianity imposed by law on the nation.” Notice the blatant hypocrisy and contempt for reality here. No Christian and no American is trying to claim that the founding fathers didn’t ‘really’ believe the first Amendment. What an absolutely preposterous and laughable accusation. The founding fathers clearly wrote the bill of rights specifically so that any Christian could practice any form of Christianity that they like without persecution. From Catholics to Protestants and every Christian in between.

“In this light,” Marcotte continues. “Johnson’s fake prayer reads less as a mistake and more as a diss to both Thomas Jefferson and all the liberals who share his views about religious freedom and democracy.” Here we stumble upon the true revisionists take on Americas founding principals. It is the far left, the anti-Christian, anti-American pseudo communists who hate Christians and America who are attempting to abuse the good will of Christians to attack and destroy America; it is they who want to rewrite history and have you believe that the founding fathers weren’t actually trying to protect Christianity with the creation of this country, but were instead, secretly, trying to implement a 1st amendment who purpose was to uphold false “religions” (theocracies) like islam, LGBT+, communism/socialism, woke-democracy, and other forms of idolatry who’s express purpose is to destroy America/Christianity.

Given the significance of “Jefferson’s Prayer” (or perhaps we should now call it “Johnsons Prayer”) and how desperately the far-left is trying to distract you from the simple, loving, message of it. It is important to reiterate it here. Focus on the message. Who cares who wrote it, that is of little importance. And certainly stop listening to spiteful leftists who hate you, America, and everything good under the sun.

“Almighty God, Who has given us this good land for our heritage; We humbly beseech Thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of Thy favor and glad to do Thy will. Bless our land with honorable ministry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion, from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitude brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endow with Thy spirit of wisdom those to whom in Thy Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that through obedience to Thy law, we may show forth Thy praise among the nations of the earth. In time of prosperity fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in Thee to fail; all of which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.”   –Thomas Jefferson (probably)
